9am-12pm:
Private visits to contemporary architectural offices in Berlin.
First stop: Kleiheus and Kleiheus. We meet with Kleiheus, Jr.
and tour the firm’s office, which is a converted garbage disposal
facility on the Spree River. They have a boat, moored below for
fair weather outings on the Spree.
Second stop: Tour of the light filled office and woodshop
of Barkow Leibinger Architekten.
