THE FARMSTAND DESIGN/BUILD STUDIO In a unique studio opportunity, students in William Worn's Spring 2004 Advanced Architectural Design Studio in the graduate program of the School of Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago designed and built a farmstand for Prairie Crossing. The conservation community of Prairie Crossing in Grayslake, Illinois is the state's largest producer of organic produce. Its vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs have been sold both to residents of Prairie Crossing and the public since 1993.
